There was sadness through some part of the book, but in the end everything was alright. Their love was just epic. I am glad that somehow Thayer was the instigator of the love this time and that he decided to be happy once one for all. After all Salem was his one and true love. tropes: grumpy x sunshine, single dad, one bed + nightmare trope, age gap (13-14 years), employee x boss vibes bc she’s sometimes babysitting his son, cheating & small town.
